IWEX University Challenge

Does your university conduct research for the water sector? Are you working on an exciting water related research project?

Then the IWEX University Challenge is for you! We are looking for latest water research projects promising to deliver:

• Increased efficiency and cost savings for existing procedures and technologies
• New procedures and technologies
• Energy savings
• More sustainable water management
• More effective treatment of unwanted particles in water

All successful entries will be given the opportunity to present their project in front of a judging panel and an industry audience at IWEX on 21st April 2010.

The members of the judging panel are:
Paul Horton, Director, International Development, CIWEM
Steve Kaye, Manager of Innovation, Anglian Water
Ken Gedman, Business Unit Director, Mouchel

Judging criteria will include: degree of innovation, environmental impact, technical content and commercial potential. The winner will be presented the IWEX University Challenge Award at the Water Industry Achievements Award ceremony on 20th May 2010 in Birmingham.
