He is passionate about helping clients deliver exceptional operational performance, reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions. The approach is 'Energy management through people', combining behavioural and technical support that helps put people at the heart of success. His work as Heathrow Airport Energy Manager (2007-2011) was 'Highly commended' in the ESTA Energy Manager of the Year Award, 2010. James is also a guest lecturer for City University's Energy MSc course, and sits on the NEMEX steering committee.
