    Seminar Details
Reducing energy consumption is a focus for all those involved in the built environment, and you have probably already looked at the obvious measures such as lighting & insulation, but the fact is that HVAC accounts for typically 50% of your buildings energy consumption, and therefore should be one of the main areas you look to for energy savings. This presentation looks at energy efficiency within the built environment, and how adopting electronically commutated (EC) fan technology in both commercial and domestic buildings will provide a significant reduction in energy consumption. It explores why EC technology is different, offering not only large energy savings but also additional benefits such as reduced noise, simple controls, reduced maintenance and much more. Case studies will show how ebm-papst have helped companies upgrade their HVAC equipment to achieve increase fan efficiencies of over 50%, with typical paybacks of between 1 - 2 years, these companies have achieved significant financial savings whilst also lowering their carbon emissions. Case studies looked at will include Data Centres, Fan Coil Units, & Air Handling Units for some of the UK's largest companies. People who should attend are Facility Managers, M&E contractors, Energy Managers, Energy professionals, company Directors and also individuals keen to learn how to reduce their energy bills. Attendees will learn about the potential savings for theirs or their clients business, and gain an insight into how simple it is to upgrade existing equipment and start saving money.
