Sustainabilitylive! 2012 Seminar Programme - Interseasonal Heat Storage - combining solar and ground-source energy
Seminar Details The presentation will cover undergound thermal energy storage (UTES) where excess heat is stored in the ground in boreholes in the summer, to then reuse in winter for heating. Typically the heat is excess heat from solar thermal panels in summer or solar absorbers in tarmac / asphalt. The presentation is aimed at consulting engineers, contractors and housing developers. Delegates will learn what the different components required and what type of projects it is best suited for. |
