This prestigious award in its eighth year, seeks to acknowledge the achievement of Energy Managers who have put efficient energy practices into the work place.
Judging Criteria
The winning applicant may not necessarily be the one who has achieved the greatest savings in absolute or proportional terms. The panel will recognise particular business circumstances, where resources may be limited. The short listed candidates will be expected to have demonstrated flair and imaginative solutions to achieving the desired results and to be able to quantify those results.
Assessment criteria
Your overview should include evidence of where you have succeeded in:
- Identifying potential energy efficiency savings
- Developing policies and measures to improve energy performance
- Securing investment in time/money for projects
- Informing and motivating customers, colleagues and/or the supply chain
- Promoting technology innovation
- Implementing policies and measures to improve energy performance
NEMEX Renewables Innovation Award
Now in its third year, this award seeks to recognise the individual or organisation which has shown, what is judged to be the most innovative approach towards the installation of a small scale, embedded renewable system.
Judging Criteria
Applications are welcome from private individuals with their own domestic installations, or from an individual on behalf of an organisation. Nevertheless it is recognised that some projects may be the result of a team effort, which the Award would recognise. The Award will be made to the single project, completed within the last two years which, in the opinion of the judges, shows the best application of the criteria indicated below.

Your overview should specify:
The technology sphere of your project which could be, but not be limited to, one of the following, or a combination thereof:

The innovative approach which is being sought might relate, but not be limited to one or more of the following:

The positioning of the installation

The contribution to on-site energy needs the renewable energy installation is supplying

The publicity and promotion of the benefits to stakeholders and others

The involvements of third parties, for example in supporting the investment through co-ownership, or benefiting from the green energy output

The justification used, for example to address business criteria, local agendas, community / planning issues
